Mineral slurry is fed into the tubular feeding device, which employs a gap-type distribution mechanism to deliver the slurry directly into the separation zone of the equipment. Magnetic minerals are first magnetized and chain-linked, and then efficiently attracted to the surface of the rotating drum by strong magnetic forces. The reverse-rotating drum lifts the magnetic concentrate above the liquid surface, facilitating the separation of water and minerals to enhance concentration.

During this process, as the concentrate particles detach from the liquid surface, they undergo repeated agglomeration and dispersion due to the action of an internal stirring magnetic field on the drum surface. The multi-stage washing with rinsing water effectively removes impurities such as silicon, sulfur, and phosphorus from the concentrate, maximizing the concentrate grade. Ultimately, the concentrate is collected in the concentrate bin through the action of a dual-layer scraper (unloading device and scraper), while non-magnetic minerals and gangue flow into the tailing's outlet at the bottom of the separation tank, becoming tailings or middling.
