The thickener primarily consists of a circular concentration tank and a rake-type sludge scraper. Solid particles suspended in the slurry settle under the influence of gravity, resulting in clarified water at the top, allowing for solid-liquid separation. The sludge deposited at the bottom of the thickener tank is continuously scraped to the center discharge outlet by the rake-type sludge scraper, while the clarified water overflows from the top of the thickener tank. Primarily used for clarifying and concentrating coal slurry or mineral slurry in mining operations to achieve dehydration. It is also applicable in chemical, metallurgical, and other industries for solid-liquid separation and dehydration tasks.
