In typical slurry transportation operations, a common setup involves one active pump and one backup pump. When one pump and its corresponding valve are opened, the closed valve at the three-way junction can become severely blocked, making it difficult to open later. The three-way automatic diverter valve replaces two separate valves; when one is opened, the flow of slurry causes a ball within the valve to roll along a guide rail, effectively blocking the other inlet and preventing slurry flow through it. Ideal for use with slurries, mineral tailings, and other similar fluids, as well as in drainage systems for various backup pumps and in chemical environments with corrosive media.
