The BG533-3 Na22 source density meter utilizes an exempt source, with the radiation source and detector installed on opposite sides of the pipeline. When the density of the material within the device changes, the flux rate of the rays received by the detector also changes, which is then converted into a signal sent to the transmitter.
This meter features continuous non-contact detection, automatic compensation for source attenuation, and high measurement accuracy. It can measure the density or concentration of various fluids or solid-liquid mixtures in pipelines, storage tanks, and silos, and is suitable for high temperature, high pressure, high viscosity, cryogenic, toxic, and corrosive environments where other instruments cannot operate.
