High Pressure Grinding Roll differs fundamentally from conventional crushing technology in two aspects. Firstly, it adopts quasi-static pressure crushing, which can reduce energy consumption by approximately 30% compared with impact crushing. Secondly, it realizes material bed crushing where materials are comminuted through mutual extrusion. This crushing principle delivers markedly higher efficiency and greatly lowers wear in contrast to traditional crushing and ball milling processes. The extrusion stress between materials can be adjusted by roller pressure. The whole grinding process is accomplished by two counter-rotating rollers: one roller is fixed while the other is movable.
