This type of pump is also known as an end-face sealing pump. It features at least one pair of sealing rings that are perpendicular to the rotational axis, with one mounted on the shaft that rotates and the other fixed on the pump casing. Foam pump components are used in rotating equipment like pumps, blowers, and mixing tanks to prevent leakage of the medium through gaps between the rotating shaft and the casing.
