The flotation airflow control system consists of a gas flow meter and a pneumatic control butterfly valve. The control box is shared with the flotation level control system.

Thermal gas flow meter is with simple and compact structure, featuring a 316 stainless steel probe and inserted directly into the pipeline without the need for cutting or flange connections.

The PLC control box allows real-time monitoring of the flotation cell's airflow measurement. The measured airflow is compared against a setpoint value. A PID control algorithm processes this comparison and outputs a control signal to the intelligent pneumatic / electric valve positioner, which adjusts the opening of the pneumatic control butterfly valve.
