This equipment consists mainly of a high-pressure washing system, frame, excitation coil, yoke, magnetic medium, high-pressure air flushing device, and heat exchanger. The excitation coil, powered by direct current, generates an induced magnetic field in the separation zone, creating a high-gradient magnetic field on the surface of the magnetic medium. The slurry is pumped in from the bottom via a slurry pump equipped with a variable frequency motor, entering the magnetic medium pile through the lower yoke's openings. Magnetic particles in the slurry adhere to the magnetic medium's surface, while non-magnetic particles pass through the magnetic media and are discharged from the concentrate outlet via the upper yoke's openings. After a set period of separation, once the magnetic medium becomes saturated with magnetic particles, the feed valve is closed, and the return valve is opened to allow the slurry remaining in the chamber to flow back to the original ore pool. After the return is complete, the return valve is closed, and the tailing valve is opened to use alternating high-pressure washing water and pulse high-pressure air to clean the magnetic medium thoroughly. Once the flushing process is complete, the tailing and return valves are closed, and the feed valve is opened again to restart the feeding process, thus completing one cycle of iron removal.
