The materials roll within a rotating disc inclined at 35-55°. The incline creates a drop effect, increasing the chances of collision and friction among the particles. Under various forces, the materials move along a defined trajectory, forming a rolling vortex. By adding a certain amount of water, the particles within the disc grow larger as nuclei gradually increase in size. After a set period, spherical pellets are formed and automatically roll out from the edge of the disc once they meet the required strength. The disc pelletizer is primarily used for pelletizing powdery materials, commonly applied in the cement, copper, iron, and compound fertilizer industries.
