Bulk materials are loaded into the receiving cylinder from a hopper. The weight of the material allows it to accumulate on the disc. By adjusting the gap between the sleeve and the disc with a screw, the natural angle of repose of the material on the disc can be controlled. As the disc rotates, the material is evenly scraped off by the discharge blade and falls outside the disc, allowing for a consistent feed into the receiving hopper. Continuous rotation of the disc facilitates uniform feeding. Adjusting the gap between the discharge blade and the disc also allows control over the feed rate. The motor drives the disc through a pulley and a worm gear reducer. Suitable for use in mineral processing plants, smelting plants, cement plants, sand mines, and mechanized casting workshops. Can be suspended from steel structures or installed beneath hoppers for continuous feeding.
